Happy Birthday Mama

Henry was thirty days old when Mama celebrated her first birthday as a mother.

In each of the next thirteen years she lived a lifetime.

Her life was transformed in ways she could never foresee.

She became a teacher, a caregiver, a searchlight, and poet of the soul.

She is and will always be Henry's Mama.

And so much more.

Happy birthday, Mama.

Love,

Dad

cause the world around us keeps on moving....moving
and theres no doubt that i still love you...love you
so when you feel the darkness coming rising inside
i'll make a light to guide you back home

and after all the sky is falling down
and after all the waters washed away
my loves the only promise that remains

Dearest Cynthia,
I remember that birthday and that magical time of celebrations. Between the birthday cakes and mother's day cakes it was hard to keep up! Please know that I'm thinking of you and sending you lots and lots of love. XO, Sharon

That's a lovely photo and a very special tribute. I know your birthday was bittersweet. I think of you both very often.
